Project description: This project, located at the Grade I listed All Saints Church in Sandon, will conserve and repair several key heritage assets within the church to safeguard its future.

Project description: This Coalville-based project will collate tangible and intangible heritage of the Co-operative Movement across communities in Leicestershire and Derbyshire. This includes collecting oral histories and related materials, creating a travelling exhibition, community engagement activities and the creation of a digital archive.

Project description: This project looks to explore and document the experiences of locals to Wem, Shrewsbury of the First and Second World Wars. Through oral histories, the project will explore histories about the local community.

Project description: This project aims to engage under-served groups with colonial heritage through performing the Please Do Not Touch play and workshops at prisons and National Trust properties in the West Midlands.

Project description: This project intends to support young people with special educational needs and disabilities to record the heritage, experiences and stories of South Asian and Afro Caribbean women who migrated to Birmingham following the Second World War.

Project description: This project will see the delivery of a programme of activities along with capital work aimed at saving the environmental heritage of the River Waveney valley in Norfolk and Suffolk.

John Ray Memorial Window – A modern artistic design in stained glass

Applicant: St Peter & St Paul Church Black Notley

Project description: This project will commemorate John Ray (1627–1705) and his achievements and preserve his historical value of the natural world by installing a new stained-glass window at this Grade II listed church in Essex. It will embrace his research incorporating his study of plants, insects, birds, animals and astrology.

Project description: This project will preserve and share the intangible cultural heritage of the Somali community in Birmingham through oral histories, purchasing new radio equipment and a digital archive.

Project description: This project aims to establish a strategic Midlands Nature organisation to support natural heritage projects across the Midlands region, with a particular focus on nature restoration in waterways and coastlines, wetlands and urban fringe areas.

Decision: Award grant of £245,000 (78%)

West Norfolk Thriving Historic Towns

Project description: This project will deliver a community grants scheme to restore shop fronts, create heritage appropriate signage and complete conservation works to historic buildings within Hunstanton and Downham Market's Conservation Areas.

Project description: This cross-territory project will research, share and archive stories about the movement of people along the River Lea from its source in Luton to where it meets the Thames in East London.

50 Stories for 50 Years

Applicant: Junction Arts Limited

Project description: This project will collect and make accessible 50 stories from people who have been part of Derbyshire’s Junction Arts charity over the past five decades. A documentary film, three touring exhibitions and digital formats will be produced to raise awareness and reach wider audiences.
