This Conservation Area Partnership Scheme focused on Newark Town Wharf
It involved repairs to the riverside wall of Newark Town Wharf, which was previously in danger of collapse.
The project aimed to return the original 18th century wharf to the site as well as to repair it.
The Conservation Area Partnership Scheme is the English Heritage grant scheme for conservation areas. It offers small grants, mainly for external and structural repairs, and reinstatement of architectural features.
