The Pontlottyn Communities First Partnership led a 12-month project to raise awareness and educate people about Edward Chapman and how Pontlottyn survived and developed during the Second World War.
Volunteers received training in the creation of digital stories including oral and visual recording, research into local history, and the use of digital technology and editing. His story was then passed onto the community through digital stories, exhibitions and a tea dance.
The local primary school, took an active role in the project and recorded digital stories, took part in creative writing classes and created an exhibition that was displayed within the school. Find out what the children thought of the project through this YouTube video.
