As Director of Growth and Investment at Norfolk County Council, Chris works closely with local businesses, educational institutions and other stakeholders to create jobs, secure investment and improve skills and opportunities for local people.
This has included investing in a portfolio of heritage assets, bringing new life to historic buildings, supporting new jobs and revitalising communities.
Chris was previously Chief Executive of the New Anglia Local Enterprise Partnership and before that Chief Executive of public private partnership Shaping Norfolk’s Future. He also spent more than a decade as a journalist in regional television, radio and newspapers in East Anglia, the midlands and the south west of England.
He remains a regular contributor to the media on business and the economy.
