The project focused on developing the East Midlands section of the National Byway route, a 3,300 mile cycling route that links up heritage sites around England and parts of Scotland and Wales.

This project, at Pontypool Museum, was to conserve the historic museum building and ensure that it is set up to permanently house and display collections.

The project involved changing the previous categorisation of displays at Cartwright Hall from culture, chronology and medium, to the three key themes of People, Place and Imagination. This was to allow a mixture of objects from Europe and Asia, which reflect the common heritage of the people of

Hackney’s oldest building was transformed into a popular visitor attraction, learning space and exhibition venue by a local building preservation trust.

Renamed the Beaney House of Art and Knowledge, this museum in the heart of the historic city of Canterbury provides state-of-the-art facilities and has chalked up a range of awards since re-opening in 2012.

Quarry Park was restored as part of this programme to repair and reconstruct the Grade II listed parkland.

National Maritime Museum houses one of the largest and most important maritime collections, set within the former Greenwich Hospital School for Seamen, a complex of Grade I listed buildings.

The Grade I listed building was repaired and renovated, bringing it up to operational standards for audiences and artists.

The Parkhead Cross Townscape Heritage Initiative was designed to help regenerate the former local town centre.

This project has renovated and refurbished Manchester’s Victoria Baths, regarded as Britain’s finest historic municipal swimming pool.

Devon Wildlife Trust’s (DWT) project aimed to create community-based interpretation at the Trust’s new head office at Cricklepit Mill, Exeter.

Volunteers researched and recorded the longstanding history of deaf tennis in the UK, and brought it to life for a wider audience.
