Parkhead Cross is a small conservation area in the East End of Glasgow. The area was in need of social and economic regeneration following a decline in retail activity.

The project was designed to bring more activity to the area by repairing historic buildings and bring them back into use, and allowing greater access to healthcare and other facilities.
