With a background in archaeology from the University of Edinburgh, her work focuses on the conservation and interpretation of Scotland’s built heritage, with particular interest in landscape, community archaeology and inclusive storytelling.

Based in Easter Ross in the Scottish Highlands, Sophie has cherished being immersed in Highland culture, fostering a reverent respect for Gàidhlig, Highland folklore and its material culture.
