Role
Future Heritage Leader for Scotland
Alice is an early career archaeologist with the National Trust for Scotland, based in Inverness.

With a background in archaeology from the University of Edinburgh, her work focuses on the conservation and interpretation of Scotland’s built heritage, with particular interest in landscape, community archaeology and inclusive storytelling.

Growing up in the Kingdom of Fife sparked an early connection to historic places, shaping a belief that heritage is most meaningful when rooted in lived experience and local voices. Through her role with the Trust, she supports archaeological research and conservation while helping to engage communities with heritage across Scotland.

Outside of work, Alice spends much of her time exploring Scotland on foot, finding inspiration in the relationship between people and place.
