People are penning poems about the places they love and pinning them to a digital map as part of a new National Lottery project – and you are invited to add your own!

We're getting involved with Museum Week's seven themes over seven days using seven hashtags. To celebrate, we're sharing one fantastic National Lottery Heritage Fund-supported museum every day.

The story of the poppy is being taken on the road around Scotland for the first time, in a purpose built 18-tonne truck called Bud.

The finalists battling it out to be named Art Fund's Museum of the Year have been revealed. Four of the five shortlisted Museums are National Lottery-funded.

We spoke to five inspirational women who work in all aspects of heritage. We asked them for the most important piece of advice they would give to other women looking to work or get involved in the sector. They also told us who inspires them today.
