National Lottery Open Week is running from Saturday 7 to Sunday 15 March 2026, with hundreds of heritage venues getting involved.

Delve into the past at historical houses, castles and museums or embrace nature in all its glory at lots of wonderful wildlife hotspots this March.

To say thank you for the £32million raised for good causes by players every week, National Lottery-funded venues are offering free entry, discounts and special deals.

With more than 600 offers available, all you need to start exploring is a National Lottery ticket or scratchcard!

Where will you visit?

Free entry

Hundreds of National Trust sites and venues are throwing their doors open for free including Sutton Hoo in Suffolk, Powis Castle and Garden in Wales, Lindisfarne Castle in Northumberland and Florence Court in Northern Ireland.

National Trust for Scotland is offering free access to places like The Hill House, Robert Burns Birthplace Museum and Glencoe National Nature Reserve.

Take a trip to outstanding English Heritage sites for free including Brodsworth Hall and Gardens, Dover Castle and Pendennis Castle.

Head outside and explore RSPB nature reserves full of life, such as Strumpshaw Fen, Saltholme and Conwy.
