Grants for heritage
Applications are open for National Lottery Grants for Heritage from £3,000 to £5million.
We are prioritising six outcomes for heritage projects to respond to the COVID-19 context: skills and jobs, inclusion, organisational resilience, better places, the economy and wellbeing.
We are fully operational and open for business, but we are conducting much of our day-to-day business remotely.
This means we are unable to access our post. In the interim, please send any items via email to your contact or to firstname.lastname@example.org.

Workshops for first-time applicants and priority applicants
Are you thinking of applying for a grant between £3,000 to £250,000 but have never applied to us before?
London & South’s regular ‘Helping you Apply’ funding workshops and webinars are a great opportunity for first-time applicants to:
- find out more about our funding
- get tips on how to make a good application
- explore what a well-planned project looks like
- network with other organisations from your area
We particularly encourage you to attend if your project works with or cares for the heritage of:
- diverse ethnic communities
- young people (aged 11-25)
- LGBT+ communities
- disabled people
- people on low incomes
The University of Oxford’s Pitt Rivers Museum has collaborated with partners to reinterpret its collections from an LGBT+ perspective.
