
Jon was with the Audit Commission for 27 years, including nine years as a statutory auditor and three years as part of the executive management team. He was the first chief executive of Public Sector Audit Appointments Limited from 2015 to 2018.
Since 2018 he has undertaken a number of non-executive roles and is currently a board member at the NHS Counter Fraud Authority, a member of the Financial Reporting Council’s advisory panel and an independent member of the audit and risk committee at the General Medical Council. He is also a member of the London Mayor’s joint audit panel for policing and crime.
Jon lives in Southport and Derbyshire and is the company secretary at a heritage charity in Derbyshire operating in the Derwent Valley Mills World Heritage Site. In his spare time Jon enjoys playing, watching and listening to music, travel and walking his dogs.
