She has taken on a variety of roles including regional manager north east, head of the major grants team, head of the National Heritage Memorial Fund, Major Grants and Special Programmes in the Strategy and Business Development Department and most recently director of Operations.
Eilish has a degree in History of Art and Archaeology from University College Dublin, and an MA from Queen’s University Belfast.
She was a junior research fellow in the Institute of Irish Studies in Queen’s University.
Prior to joining The National Lottery Heritage Fund she worked with Historic Scotland as an inspector of historic buildings and before that in Belfast for the Environment Service, Historic Monuments & Buildings Branch, Northern Ireland. She also worked with the Irish Architectural Archive and the Office of Public Works in Dublin.
