Tony has worked as a chief executive in landscape and heritage management for over 25 years.
He is the Chief Executive of Northumberland National Park Authority, a post he has held since November 2005.
A chartered town planner, Tony has previously worked in urban regeneration and rural development roles in the UK and overseas.
He is an experienced non-executive director, appointed Chair of Your Homes Newcastle in January 2020, and joined the Board of the National Federation of ALMOs from May 2021.
He was previously non-executive director of Northumberland Tourism Ltd, Active Northumberland, Kielder Water and Forest Park Development Trust and the Ouseburn Trust, which helps support the regeneration of this historic cultural area of Newcastle.
Tony is also a Council member of the North East Chamber of Commerce.
