Currently recruiting:

Chair of Wales Committee and Trustee for the Board (one role)

We are currently recruiting a Chair for our Committee for Wales, who will also serve as Trustee for The National Lottery Heritage Fund and National Heritage Memorial Fund Board. The application deadline has been extended to 12pm on 12 May 2022.

Committee members for England, Midlands & East (up to five roles)

We are recruiting for up to five members to join our Committee for England, Midlands & East. The deadline for applications is 10 June 2022.

The Board

The Board of The National Heritage Memorial Fund and The National Lottery Heritage Fund consists of a chair and up to 14 trustees, appointed by the Prime Minister.

From April 2019 the Board:

  • sets our strategic and policy framework

  • determines our Corporate Strategy and our annual Business Plan

  • makes decisions on NHMF funding, National Lottery Heritage Fund grants over £5million and our UK-wide strategic campaigns.
