This project helped to transform the iconic A-listed building of the Glasgow School of Art, which is internationally recognised as Charles Rennie Mackintosh’s masterpiece.

HLF awarded its largest ever grant in Scotland for the creation of a new Riverside Museum and a second phase of the Glasgow Museums Resource Centre.

The project focused on repairing buildings and improving Ingram Street and Trongate in Merchant City.

This scheme focused on regenerating Govan Cross by repairing and restoring the area’s historic features and buildings.

The Grade II* listed Staunton Country Park is on the English Heritage Register of Historic Parks and Gardens. The park is the remnant of the estate of Sir George Staunton, and has been in public ownership since 1944.

The distinctive Roundhouse is an iconic landmark building in Derby. The site has now been converted for use by Derby College, to provide a central, easily accessible campus.

The Cutty Sark conservation project has helped to save one of the world’s last surviving tea clippers and provided generations to come with a new way to engage with the ship and explore her history.
