The project was to restore, expand, develop and re-design the Royal Naval Museum in Portsmouth.

The XARCH project was a follow-on from the National Lottery-funded Community Landscapes Project.

The Cardinal O Fiaich Memorial Library and Archive (COFLA) is a historical resource based on the papers and interests of the late Cardinal Tomás Ó Fiaich.

The project was to carry out urgent repairs to the Grade II listed St Cadoc’s Church, Trevethin, near Pontypool.

HLF provided £1,000,000 towards a capital works programme as part of plans to restore Eltham Palace and allow full public access.

The project aimed to develop the Bill Douglas Centre as a museum for the history of cinema and popular culture.

The funding helped to repair and restore the historic fabric of the Grade II* listed building, and supported a new education programme to share the heritage with more people.

Phase two of the project focused on restoring the historic centre of Heaton Park, putting back the original character by reinstating the original landscape design and planting schemes.

This project aimed to rejuvenate the landscape at the Durham World Heritage Site and engage the public in the conservation programme.

This grant helped to fund the construction of a mezzanine floor in the Oriental Museum, Durham. This was designed to increase display space in the museum, allowing unseen part of the collections to be displayed.

The project enabled the museum to increase public access to more of its collections.

National Maritime Museum houses one of the largest and most important maritime collections, set within the former Greenwich Hospital School for Seamen, a complex of Grade I listed buildings.
