All of the buildings, except No 21, were already in the ownership of the Lady Florence Trust. The Grade II listed buildings were semi-derelict and all on the English Heritage’s risk register.

The aim of the project was to acquire No 21 Deptford Broadway so that the group of buildings could be repaired and restored and converted for use as flats and community space.

The project was designed to benefit those who live and work in the area, as well and contributing to the on-going improvement of the Deptford conservation area.
