Heritage Horizon Awards: backing big ideas, unlocking possibilities.

Our £50million Heritage Horizon Awards have been awarded to five transformational heritage projects.

Made possible thanks to funding from National Lottery players, the Heritage Horizon Awards were developed to support innovative projects that will revolutionise UK heritage.

The five projects are:

  • Cairngorms 2030: people and nature thriving together
  • Peatland Progress: A New Vision for the Fens
  • Plymouth Sound National Marine Park
  • Great Yarmouth Winter Gardens: Reimagining the People's Palace
  • International Slavery Museum: Igniting Ideas and Action

All five share qualities of huge ambition, significant collaboration and the prospect of life-changing benefits for people and places.
