Speed dating at the Science Museum set to spark young heritage partnerships

Youth groups and heritage organisations are being brought together to help spark heritage partnerships.

HLF’s Young Roots grants programme sees youth groups team up with heritage partners for projects ranging from exploring the story of an historic building to discovering the impact of diversity on our culture.

Now the HLF London team is hosting its first ever speed dating event to help groups find their perfect match.

As well as exploring what heritage means and discussing project ideas, young participants will have the chance to speak to a number of potential heritage partners to discover the benefits of working together.

Fun, informative and informal, the event is a fantastic opportunity to spark the beginning of an amazing partnership.

Are you looking for your perfect match?

The event takes place at the Science Museum on Wednesday 28 October from 9.30am to 1pm. If you’d like to join us, contact LondonEvents@hlf.org.uk with the subject line ‘Speed Dating Event’ by Monday 19 October. Follow the event @HLFLondon using #HeritageMatch.
