From famous forts and precious piers to seaside memories of yesteryears, the South and East coast of England has some incredible heritage.

Now much of it is set to get even better thanks to these projects recently supported by National Lottery players.

Here we take a look at some of the amazing places you can plan your #summersdayout to – and all of them are National Lottery funded! Our journey begins in Norfolk and will take us all the way down to the Isle of Wight.
