Stella has over 25 years’ experience in the heritage sector and has managed over £300million investment in Northern Ireland’s rich and varied heritage whilst at the Heritage Fund.
In 1999, Stella joined the then Heritage Lottery Fund in a casework role, bringing valuable experience from the Community Relations Council to the newly established Northern Ireland team. Stella later became Casework Manager and then Head of Investment in 2019.
Stella is a passionate advocate for heritage in Northern Ireland and across the UK. She is passionate about how heritage strengthens people, places and communities and is committed to driving innovation, collaboration and ensuring heritage delivers lasting benefit.
Stella is a former Board Member of the Community Relations Council and Chair of its Audit Committee. She recently completed six years as a Trustee of the Museums Association where she chaired the Nations Committee. She previously served as Vice President of her local Credit Union.
In her spare time, Stella enjoys exploring the rich heritage of Northern Ireland and beyond with her young family.
