Since April 2024, Jonathan has been Transformation Manager at the National Football Museum, where he leads the programme of exhibitions and gallery redevelopments, embedding co-curation and contemporary storytelling into the museum’s work. Previously, he held a range of roles at National Museums Liverpool and West Cheshire Museums, producing exhibitions and public programmes with a strong focus on audience development, co-curation and community participation. This work has shaped his commitment to making heritage inclusive, relevant and resilient.
Jonathan brings significant experience of project management, strategic planning and governance. As Chair of Trustees at Arts&Heritage – a national charity connecting artists and heritage organisations – he led the board through a period of organisational change. He also has experience both applying for and developing major public funding programmes, giving him a practical understanding of the responsibilities and impact of investment in heritage.
