These will be linked to the ongoing research projects run by the University of the Highlands and Islands Institute and the University of Bradford Department of Archaeological Sciences at Swandro and Skaill Farm sites at Westness, Rousay.

Dunoon Goes POP with Dunoon Burgh Hall

Project description: To build on the project, Dunoon Goes POP. It will explore how to create, share and engage a diverse range of local people in the co-creation of traditional soft drinks making and research to explore Dunoon's historic links to the sugar and slave trade.

Project description: The project aims to organise a one day Folk Festival in Aden Country Park in order to engage the wider community in the local heritage. The day would be a celebration of the music, oral traditions and history of the Buchan area.

A Jaunt Roond Auld Reekie: a performance that combines music, comedy and storytelling to celebrate the Scots language whilst telling stories of 'auld Edinburgh'. To be toured to primary schools in Edinburgh and the Lothians, supported by workshops.

Project description: The project aims to tour ‘A Jaunt Roond Auld Reekie’ to 10 schools in Edinburgh from September to late April. The show involves storytelling, original music, comedy, puppetry and audience interaction exploring stories from the social and cultural history of Edinburgh and will be in Scots.

Project description: This project aims to explore the potential of regenerative tourism as a means of revitalising small post-industrial heritage sites in Scotland, specifically in the towns of Paisley, Greenock and Clydebank.
