Project description: This project will save the Iron Duke from dereliction and loss and return it to viable and sustainable commercial use as a pub/restaurant with self-catering holiday accommodation. The aim is to re-open in Summer 2026.

Decision: Award grant increase of £240,000 to make a total grant of £2,645,884 (76%)

Project description: This project seeks to save heritage through the strategic development of Kettering Museum. It will do this by developing and reviewing its collections, relocating collections and master-planning for the future of the museum.

Project description: This project will purchase Duch Wood, near Diss, Norfolk and erect a facility to house a natural heritage academy. It will act as an alternate provision for young people with additional needs.

Project description: This project will explore the history of the former Waveney Valley railway line, between Norfolk and Suffolk, through a community play and a range of local activities.

Project description: This project will complete essential repairs to the Grade II* listed Church of St James the Great in Ocle Pychard, near Hereford. It will also enhance the natural heritage around the church.

Project description: This Birmingham-based project looks to archive, digitise and share Black British Gospel heritage in an online, accessible library and learning hub. This aims to reaffirm Gospel heritage as an influence in Britain’s cultural, musical and social story.

Project description: This project will improve the electrical wiring of the unlisted Christ Church, in Wellington Heath, near Ledbury, Herefordshire. It will enable the building to support study and research, host exhibitions and concerts and provide reliable access to the internet.

Project description: This project in Great Yarmouth will create a Heritage and Culture Enabler, as well as dedicated work-streams to build capacity. This will extend institutional efficiency and resilience, stimulate pride in place and foster economic opportunities.

Project description: This project will repair the roof structure and apex cross of the Grade II listed St Mary and St Edmund Church in Catesby, Northamptonshire, as well as repointing some external walls.

Norwich Community Hospital - Heritage Garden

Project description: This project will restore and relocate five stone monuments to a new garden at Norwich Community Hospital, that can be traced back to being a workhouse that was built on the site in 1859.

Project description: This is a project collecting, sharing and exhibiting cultural experiences of domestic violence and abuse. It will look conduct oral histories of domestic violence and abuse from a range of cultural, ethnic and religious perspectives in Leicester since 1975.

Project description: This project will revitalise a vulnerable 92-acre ancient woodland, near Chelmsford, Essex, restoring traditional habitats, historic features and reconnecting people with nature and local memory.

Project description: This Colchester-based project will deliver engagement sessions to encourage people to appreciate their local green spaces and develop natural heritage management skills.

Applicant: The Parochial Church Council of the Ecclesiastical Parish of the Mardyke Team Ministry

Project description: This project will deliver the first phase of the repair works required to remove the Grade I listed St Nicholas of Myra Church in South Ockendon, Essex from the Heritage at Risk register. The project will also engage the community through an activity plan.

Decision: Award grant increase of £249,858 to make a total grant of £445,429 (89%)
