Project description: encourage young people to engage with calypso to enable succession and sustainability. Share performances during the Annual London Calypso Tent.

Project description: celebrate the life and achievements of three Brent women who overcame adversity and prejudice to positively change the world. Activities with local schools will promote inclusion. The project will engage 2,000 people.

Project description: A 26-month project working with schools and disability groups to change public perceptions on the Society of Antiquaries.

Project description: engage people with the local landscape. Increase awareness of local built environment in the village of Kingsbury Episcopi including its social, economic and cultural heritage. Workshops, exhibitions and nature trails.

Project title: Lewes Wildlife and Wellbeing Mosaic

Applicant: The Railway Land Wildlife Trust Limited

Project description: establish a new wellbeing space at the entrance to the Railway Land Local Nature Reserve. Work with a variety of local partners to expand green wellbeing activities and create and connect habitats across Lewes.

Decision: Award Grant of £229,866

 

Project title: Hidden Figures of Plymouth

Project description: research and highlight marginalised lives in Plymouth. Explore untold stories of prominent figures with a focus on black heritage. Oral histories and a booklet.

Project description: improve resilience and welfare of people of Caribbean origin through advocacy, training and support. A range of activities focusing on collections management, community engagement and staff training.

Project title: Beckford Tower and the Cane Warriors

Project description: engage young people from minority ethnic backgrounds to explore and interpret their local heritage and develop skills. Dance performances, education workshops, live webinars and online material and resources.

Project title: Canterbury Archaeological Trust Organisational Resilience and Audience Development Strategy

Project description: undertake resilience strengthening exercises to stabilise the Trust’s operation and enhance their engagement offer.

Project title: Urgent repairs to the to the exterior of the church with the associated engagement project

Project description: the church aims to become a heritage hub, an indoor performance and events venue, a community resource and a participant in the annual St Leonard's Festival.

Project description: identify and preserve Indo-British film heritage before making it accessible to the public. Volunteers will play a key role.

Project description: bring to life the story of the wrecking of the Nornen and the subsequent rescue of the crew. Theatrical performances, workshops, talks and other activities.
