This £3.6million regeneration project transformed Barnes Park, which has been a key part of Sunderland's heritage for more than 100 years.

Durham in Time was a three-year project, which provided the opportunity to archive the vast and diverse records that community groups hold throughout the county.

A team of volunteers produced a city centre walking trail celebrating the lives and achievements of 25 notable, but uncelebrated, Dundee women from over four centuries.
