Projects we’ve funded

National Maritime Museum houses one of the largest and most important maritime collections, set within the former Greenwich Hospital School for Seamen, a complex of Grade I listed buildings.

The project focused on restoring and enhancing the late 19th century layout of Peckham Rye Park, with its formal layout of decorative bedding displays, water features and themed gardens. It also included upgrading facilities for visitors.

This grant was awarded for the restoration of the Grade II listed Southwark Park.

This project involved the set-up and opening of a new Museum in the Docklands, West India Quay.

18-21 Deptford Broadway is an irregular terrace of houses, which date back to the 17th century.

The project focused on a range of improvements to enhance the appearance and accessibility of Sconce and Devon Park.

The new hall at Newark Air Museum was designed to allow 19 aircraft to be properly displayed for the first time, and give the public improved facilities for viewing and learning about the aircraft.

The project aimed to deliver a Landscape Partnership scheme for the Trent Vale area of the Trent Valley.

Funding to acquire and preserve a 17th-centure Grade II listed cottage in Helpston near Peterborough, where the poet John Clare was born.

The grant was awarded for restoration and interpretation works to Darlow’s Farm, which joins on to the Woodwalton Fen National Nature Reserve.

Victoria Baths Trust and the Friends of Victoria Baths have been working towards the restoration and reopening of Victoria Baths since 1993.

The People’s History Museum in Manchester was awarded a major grant towards the expansion of the museum and consolidation into one site.
