Scotland's rich heritage varies from glorious landscapes, shorelines and islands to vibrant urban environments. It has a distinctive and diverse people, culture, and heritage with a history of inventors and innovators known across the world. Take a look at some of the projects in Scotland we have been proud to support.
Our Scots logo
We launched our Scots logo on 21 February 2022 for International Mother Language Day.
We are the first funder in Scotland to have a Scots language logo, which organisations can display on historic sites, at events, in project materials and online to acknowledge and celebrate our funding. It comes in addition to our Scottish Gaelic logo.
We’re excited to see projects begin to use it and for Scots speaking communities to enjoy seeing their own language on their local heritage.
Funding
Our National Lottery Heritage Grants funding programme is open – if you have an idea for a project in Scotland, we would love to hear from you. Grants are available from £10,000 up to £10m.
Application advice events
Our regular funding workshops and advice sessions are a great opportunity to:
- find out about our funding
- get tips on how to make a good application
