Based on the impact of WW2 and focusing mostly on the areas of Roath and Penylan, young people will explore this period of localised history, researching the impacts it had on local residents and the city of Cardiff.

This project focuses on the repair of several monuments and fixings within the Morgan Chapel at the church of St Michael & All Angels Church, Lower Machen.

3. Welsh Plains / Brethyn Cymreig
This project brings together community research volunteers from Mid and North Wales who are interested in the history of spinning and weaving, to explore and tell the history of the production of a woollen fabric called ‘Welsh Plains’ between 1650 and 1850.

This natural heritage based bid from Flintshire County Council seeks funding to enhance and improve the priority sector of the Bagillt Foreshore, whilst also running a programme of activities to engage the community with the site.

This eighteen month project focuses on the period following the ice age through the vegetation of the peatlands of Snowdonia National Park.

1. Merthyr Tydfil, St Mary's RC Church Urgent High Level Structural Buttressed Finial Repair Phase Two
Urgent repairs including: rebuilding coping stones of six buttressed finials and back gutter, removal and replacement of timber rot from primary and secondary structures, removal of and making good the lead lining from the gable end limestone copings.
