Spean Bridge Memorial 

Applicant: Royal Marines Association-The Royal Marine Charity

Project description: The project will carry out improvement works to the A Listed Commando Memorial and the adjacent Memorial Garden, north of Spean Bridge along the A82.

A Poet's Eye View

Applicant: Push the Boat Out Ltd

Project description:  This 12-month project delivered by Push the Boat Out (PBO) aims to connect place, technology and contemporary poetry through a walking tour web-app.

Digging Badenoch

Applicant: Badenoch Heritage

Project description:  This project aims to increase the local community's knowledge of the history of the Pictish barrow cemetery at Croftgowan which was identified as part of the Badenoch Great Place Scheme.

History Book

Applicant: Rutherglen Royal Burgh History Group

Project description: This six-month project will result in a book which documents the history and memories of parishioners who attend St. Columbkille Church in Rutherglen, Glasgow

Project description: Dunollie GLAD (Garden Links and Digital) aims to improve the grounds of Dunollie Museum and Castle, delivering nature-based activities that link to the heritage of the site and its collection.

Langholm Academy of Music.

Applicant: Langholm Eskdalemuir Ewes and Westerkirk Church

Project description : This project will conserve the Langholm Church's 1893 organ and establish a music school for school-aged children.

Project description: This project aims to create a free web app based on the 1892 Goad Fire Insurance Plan of Leith and use this resource to engage a wide range of people in a reminiscence project.

Roma Empowerment Through Heritage

Applicant: Ando Glaso

Project description: This project aims to encourage Roma communities in Scotland to explore, record and celebrate their heritage by bringing together Roma communities in Glasgow and providing opportunities to share with non-Roma audiences

Decision: Award grant of £60,700 (100%)

Inverclyde’s Legacies of Slavery and Empire

Applicant: Inverclyde Community Development Trust

Project description: This project will explore Inverclyde’s links to slavery and increase awareness of it by working with care experienced young people and other members of the local community.

Decision: Award grant of £79,000 (100%)

Dunfermline & West Fife - Wellbeing Through Heritage

Applicant: Carnegie Dunfermline Trust

Project description: This well considered project will deliver strong outcomes, engaging a wider range of people with heritage as a means to improve their mental health and wellbeing.

Decision: Award Grant of £247,000 (64%)

Craigmillar Makes History

Applicant : Craigmillar Now

Project description: This project from a first-time applicant will focus on making the Craigmillar Festival Society archive publicly accessible for the first time.

Glorious Gardens East Lothian (GGEL)

Applicant: Scotland’s Garden and Landscape Heritage

Project description: The project will recruit volunteers to survey and record previously unrecorded designed landscapes in East Lothian, from 2021 to 2025.
