Project description: This project aims to provide a community space and viable use for the vacant C-listed property in Dumfries and Galloway.

Engaging Glasgow Communities with their soil heritage; past, present and future

Applicant: Propagate (Scotland) CIC

Project description: This project will deliver a programme of workshops in the lead up to and during the World Congress of Soil Science (WCSS) 2022 to help Glasgow residents understand their soil heritage.

Decision: Award Grant of £37,512 

Newhaven: A Stravaig Through Time

Applicant: Newhaven Heritage Centre

Project description: This project will create a digital heritage trail of Newhaven which will be made accessible via a free app or by downloading a route map from a dedicated website and using a QR code to access information along the route.

Decision: Award Grant of £8,800

Room for Recovery - Horticulture, Heritage & Healing

Applicant: PKAVS

Project description: This project will restore and rebuild The Walled Garden's paths and glasshouse to make them accessible as well as creating and installing heritage interpretation and developing and delivering an activity and skills programme.

Preserving & Celebrating Edinburgh's Deaf Heritage

Applicant: Deaf Action

Project description: This project aims to conserve and repair the category A-Listed building that is home to Deaf Action, Scotland's only remaining Deaf Centre.
