Project description: Deliver a programme of events to commemorate service personnel of both World Wars, local history and the club's heritage.

NMA Remembrance Trip

Applicant: The Regimental Association of the Ulster Defence Regiment CGC (Ballymoney Branch)

Project description: A 4-day trip for 40 members to the National Memorial Arboretum in Staffordshire to remember the fallen during the 50th anniversary year of the Ulster Defence Regiment's establishment.

Applicant: Regimental Association of the Ulster Defence Regiment

Project description: A visit to the National Arboretum in Staffordshire to mark the dedication of a new memorial to the Ulster Defence Regiment.

Strand Stories

Applicant: Strand Arts Centre

Project description: This intergenerational oral history project will involve a wide range of people learning about the heritage of the Strand Cinema and other Belfast picture houses. 2020 is the 85th anniversary year of the Strand's opening.

Decision: Award Grant of £93,600 (100%)

 

Renewing the focus: Linen Biennale 2020 – 2022 Heritage Programme

Applicant: R-Space Gallery

Project description: Share the heritage of Irish Linen and Flax in Northern Ireland through a two year programme of training, tours, events, workshops and exhibitions.

Decision: Reject

 

Arney Battlefield – Community Trail and Engagement

Applicant: Fermanagh and Omagh District Council

Project description: Develop and deliver a community guided walk programme at the Battle of the Ford of the Biscuits site in Bellanaleck, County Fermanagh.

Decision: Award Grant of £94,000 (65%)
