Project description: The Open Theatre Company Limited in Coventry has requested a grant to deliver a project that will connect young people with learning disabilities with water based heritage in Coventry.

Project description: This project will ensure the successful re-opening of the transformed asset. It will provide stability for the organisation and enable it to be more resilient with appropriate resources to deliver a new visitor experience in the changing context of the pandemic.

Project description: This project will investigate the history of the Lozells and Villa Road communities in Birmingham and their resilience during and after the 1985 riots commonly known as the 'Handsworth Riots'. The history of civil unrest and the response to COVID-19 will be explored.

A history of disability sport in Solihull

Project description: This project will explore the history and impacts of disability sport; including wider contexts (Deaflympics and The Special Olympics) and local history (clubs, community groups and schools).

Project description: This project aims to carry out restoration of St Peter and Paul Church, Belton, and improve interpretation.

Project description: The Centre for Indian Classical Dance will record memories from ex-students and from groups connected to them as part of its 40th anniversary celebrations. The collected histories will be hosted on their website and donated to Media Archive for Central England and East Midlands Oral History Archive.

Project description: Lutterworth Town Estates, Leicestershire has requested a grant to install a lift in a new museum they are currently developing in the town centre. The lift will connect the museum with a new heritage centre that is being created in the same building.

Project description: This project will restore the clock dial of St Mary and St Martin's Church, a Grade I Listed building dating back to 1066 located in Worksop, Nottinghamshire

Dunwich Museum - re-engaging with our community

Project description: This project will employ a Education and Engagement Coordinator to support the re-opening of Dunwich Museum as COVID-19 restrictions ease. This role will deliver school workshops, either online via Zoom or in person, run the museum’s kids’ club and encourage younger volunteers to become involved with the museum via social media.

Project description: This project will research the history of the Pilgrim Fathers, focusing on local landmarks and faith. It will develop links with young people in America that share their roots with the Pilgrim Fathers. It will also create a website and children's and youth education and activity pack, book and performance.
