Helen Wilson is Chair of the New Anglia Cultural Board, a group set up to promote arts and heritage organisations in Norfolk and Suffolk, and to work with the New Anglia Local Enterprise Partnership to grow and expand the cultural sector.

The board is currently leading a project to grow cultural tourism in the two counties and to make Norfolk and Suffolk 'must see' cultural destinations.

She is a board member for Writers' Centre Norwich and also the Norfolk Museums Foundation.

Helen has a background in broadcasting, having been a producer and editor on BBC Radio 4's Today , World at One and PM programmes. After a stint in New York and Washington for the BBC she became managing editor and controller at BBC Radio 4.

After leaving the BBC she went into independent production and became Chair of Southern Norfolk Primary Care Trust. She continues to undertake some work for the NHS.

She is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.

Helen has a passion for exploring heritage and culture around the world, and loves walking the beaches of East Anglia.
