Parks, Health & Wellbeing Conference
16th April 2015
There is a wealth of evidence to demonstrate the impact that access to parks and green spaces can have in improving health and wellbeing and reducing health inequalities. Whilst there are some excellent projects such as Walking for Health and Eco-Minds, the role that parks can play to improve people’s health has not yet been fully realised.
This conference aims to consider how to move from theory and short term, externally funded projects into sustainable, everyday practice. The conference will focus on learning from theory and best practice and there will be an opportunity to take part in workshop discussions with experts to assist you taking forward the health and well being agenda.
