As the Inner Forth Landscape Initiative partnership moves into the final phases of delivering our four year LP scheme, we invite you to join us at Visions to Actions, two free days of networking, knowledge sharing and inspiring examples of working at a landscape-scale from the central belt of Scotland and beyond: https://inner-forth-visions-to-actions.eventbrite.co.uk
During Visions to Actions we will be incorporating stories from natural, built and cultural heritage projects, and giving time to topics that apply across the suite of heritage such as funding, monitoring and evaluation, community engagement, scale, influence and promotion and branding. We intend the day to be of relevance and interest to both new and mature partnerships, and practitioners from a range of heritage or community focused organisations and groups.
The Thursday 16 August conference will include keynote addresses from Anne McCall (RSPB Scotland Director) addressing the power of partnership working and Drew Bennellick (HLF Head of Landscape & Nature) speaking on funding landscape-scale work. The full programme will be released nearer the date. The Friday 17 August guided projects tour will take you to four diverse examples of how landscape-scale thinking has delivered positive change for habitats, built heritage and local communities of the Inner Forth. You can book via eventbrite to join us for one day, or both, and network with other delegates over the conference meal on the Thursday evening. Bookings are free, thanks to the way that the Inner Forth Landscape Initiative is funded through the Heritage Lottery Fund.
NB If you are coming from further afield, the eventbrite page has details of local accommodation, including how to obtain a preferential room rate at our conference venue Macdonald Inchyra Hotel in Polmont, Falkirk.
We look forward to meeting you in August.
