GPS Event: 'Heart of the Matter: People Make Places' on 29th September 2018

The Northern Heartlands Great Place Scheme Event, 'Heart of the Matter: People Make Places' is happening on the 29th of September 2018 at Wolsingham School in Wolsingham.

Part of the HeArt of the Matter series, it will facilitate debate discussion and the exchange of ideas about places where we live and work.

People Make Places is a hands-on look at what ‘place making’ means in towns, villages and rural communities. It will be a day to explore ideas and make connections. An outstanding group of speakers and workshop leaders will stimulate and lead conversations about building big ideas for smaller places. How do we grow enthusiasm and get noticed? What are the challenges and barriers we face? How can we tackle these by thinking differently and working together? are just some of the themes that will be explored.
