When we carried out consultation for our Strategic Funding Framework 2019-2024, people told us that our most important role, beyond grant making, was supporting the UK's heritage organisations to increase their capacity and resilience.
To make this happen, we have so far committed more than £4million to digital skills, enterprise development and business support programmes.
Our new initiative Digital Skills for Heritage directly supports digital skills and leadership across the sector.
Enterprise development and business support programmes will enable organisations working with heritage to develop their skills and confidence in income generation, leadership and management. This will take place through a range of training and development activities.
Our open programmes, National Lottery Grants for Heritage, also offer funding from £3,000 to help you invest in building the capacity of your organisation and developing the skills you need to thrive.
