Project description: This creative project aims to research, explore, archive and creatively interpret Scottish Deaf Heritage. The project provides good opportunities for bringing deaf and non-deaf organisations together and helping to ensure better representation of deaf heritage.

Project description: This project will support the Trust to revisit the operational assumptions of the original business plan and to develop and implement approaches that build the resilience of the organisation for the future.

Gourock's Digital Heritage Space

Applicant: Gourock Heritage and Arts

Project description: This project will digitise Gourock Heritage and Arts' photography collection, create a digital trail and research and record the oral histories of Gourock residents. The project will provide volunteering opportunities for older people at risk of isolation, young people, some with additional support needs, and refugees.

Uibhist Virtual Archaeology Project (UVAP)

Applicant: Lews Castle College UHI

Project description: This partnership project delivered by Lews Castle College UHI and Comhairle nan Eilean Siar aims to engage a wider range of people with Uist’s heritage. It will develop an Augmented Reality app and two mixed media exhibitions based on seven archaeological sites along the Hebridean Way.

Project description: This project will undertake an operational review of the Centre for Children’s Literature and Storytelling at Moat Brae.

Project description: This intergenerational project will provide the opportunity to save and record the memories of people who have grown up in the old fishing village of Sandend on the Moray coast.

PRIDE25 - The story of Scottish Pride

Applicant: Pink Saltire SCIO

Project description: This year-long project will celebrate 25 years since the first Pride march in Scotland, engaging 10 volunteers to produce a travelling exhibition and film which explores the role Pride has taken in securing equality for LGBTQ people.

Project description: This project is seeking to engage with young people and encourage partner organisations to review their current youth engagement practices.

The Mary Brand Story

Applicant: Positive Scotland

Project description: Positive Scotland will carry out a project centred around Mary Brand (1827-1900), a pioneering Stirling-born woman who moved to Australia and was instrumental in the community of Moree, New South Wales.

Decision: Reject
