Abigail specialises in the development of Wales' community and voluntary sectors, social impact, investment readiness and philanthropy.

Abigail is passionate about the power of heritage to change lives for people in marginalised communities.

She established her consultancy business Milestone Tweed in 2010. Working with specialists, she delivers projects that supports organisational growth and learning in heritage, culture, arts, health, employment, housing and philanthropy. As the Development Partner for Wales for the Lloyds Bank Foundation she provides a range of tailored organisational development support for charities.

Abigail is an executive coach and a qualified governance practitioner (ACGP). She is a Board member of Adra, North Wales’ largest social housing provider, and board advisor for Rape and Sexual Abuse Support Centre North Wales.

She is an Ambassador for Community Foundation Wales, supporting increased investment into the community and voluntary sector in Wales.  

Prior to establishing Milestone Tweed, Abigail worked as interim Head and interim Director of Development at Bangor and Aberystwyth Universities respectively. She spent some years in the NHS leading peer education programmes and in local government as a coordinator of music services, specialising in woodwind tuition. 

She has lived in Anglesey for the last 20 years with her husband and three children.
