Project Title: ‘Turning on the Tap’: the Jubilee Fountain Project, Monmouth

Project Summary: Monmouth Town Council propose a ten month project to restore a Grade II listed Victorian drinking fountain located in the Overmonnow district of Monmouth.

Project Title: When Valleys Sing

Applicant: Traddodiadau Cerdd Cymru/Music Traditions Wales (TRAC) Ltd

Project Summary: a 3 year project include working with schools and communities within two areas of focus (Rhondda Cynon Taf – RCT and Neath Port Talbot - NPT) in order to experience and learn about Welsh folk songs, music and traditions, and to raise awareness of local history and heritage sites.

Decision: Award £206,066 (94.93% of total costs)

Project Title: Hatchment Restoration

Applicant: The Parish of Michaelston y Fedw

Project Summary: two large hatchments from the wall of the village Church have been assessed for renovation. They are of significant historic importance for the area as they were commissioned by the Kemeys family who resided at Cefn Mably Mansion.

Project Summary: this project is to preserve, protect and maintain the site of an Iron-Age hillfort in Buckholt Wood near Monmouth, and open the site up as a communal outdoor space.
