Description: To capture and document memories of shopping in Edinburgh communities and to create an interactive exhibition within a traditional shop unit.

Bringing Munitions Work to Life
Applicant: Eastriggs and Gretna Heritage Group (SCIO)
Description: To install a hologram of a munitions girl in the Devil's Porridge Museum which will let visitors understand what it was like to be one of the 12,000 munitions girls who worked at HM Factory Gretna in the First World War.
Decision: Award grant of £8,000 (100% of total costs)

Description: To provide volunteers with an opportunity to learn about and share their memories of sport in Galashiels, whilst encouraging active lifestyles through health walks.

Lavender Menace Queer Books Archive – Heritage Community Project

Description: To engage the public with the Lavender Menace Archive which houses LGBTQ+ literature published from 1970–2000. The project will also focus on building organisational resiliency and providing a sustainable future for the archive.

Transforming Scotland through heritage volunteering
Applicant: Society of Antiquaries of Scotland
Description: To support heritage organisations across Scotland to diversify their volunteering base and to introduce inclusive heritage volunteering programmes. Make your Mark seeks to build key relationships with under-served groups, and to develop and embed new working practices to address barriers to volunteering across the sector.

Description: To create a development plan to support the acquisition and refurbishment of the Temple of Apollo building inside the Little Sparta garden, which would be used to expand engagement opportunities in the future.

Description: To strengthen the organisation and its ability to run and market the mill in the future. This includes building capacity and carrying out some early IT infrastructure work, such as the provision of a new website.
